The #9 missed the final race of the Balaton Park weekend after heavy contact at the start of the Superpole Race

Danilo Petrucci (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) will be back in action for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at the Autodrom Most after being declared fit. ‘Petrux’ missed Race 2 in WorldSBK’s last round at Balaton Park with a left hip contusion and abrasion following contact from Bahattin Sofuoglu (Motoxracing WorldSBK Team) on the opening lap of the restarted Tissot Superpole Race. While he was able to finish the race, the Italian went to the medical centre after and was diagnosed with the injury, ruling him out of Race 2. Ahead of the Czech Round, Petrucci was given the green light to compete this weekend, where he will race alongside Michael van der Mark; the Dutchman is standing in for Miguel Oliveira.
